SALVATORE GERACE
HEAD COACH/OWNER

Salvatore Gerace is a certified powerlifting, AWF Coach, ASCA strength and conditioning coach and the founder of Athlete8.

Since 2017, Salvatore has been passionately transforming everyday people into high-performance humans and now through Athlete8 he is committed to continuing to teach people how to train like athletes, so they can feel amazing and perform at their best for the rest of their life. 

MADDY HAWES
COACH

Maddy is an extremely talented individual and for the last 12 years she’s has been competing as a National Gymnastic Sport Aerobics athlete. Through love for her sport and fitness Maddy has dedicated the last 5 years to her personal training career where she has helped people achieve the unthinkable.

Her passion for gymnastics and fitness has helped her distinguish the type of training she loves to teach which is strengthen and conditioning. She also loves incorporating compound lifts into her programming as they help to build the base of strong and fit body.

She is extremely passionate about helping others become the best possible version of themselves, and understanding the importance of training for fitness over aesthetics.

CONOR HEHIR
COACH/CHIROPRACTOR

Conor is a chiropractor and strength coach who owns MoveMe Injury Rehab. Conor is passionate about getting patients back to sport and training around their injury whilst they recover. He has an interest in powerlifting, hypertrophy and the use of strength training in rehab for various injuries. He has been training for over a decade and is committed to introducing fitness into peoples lives.

Athlete8 is offers sustainable and functional 1-2-1, small group, corporate and online training solutions that are designed to transform everyday people into athletes through personal training in our industry leading boutique gym.

1-2-1 Training

Athlete8 puts the “personal” into “personal training”, thanks to our highly individualised 1-2-1 training programs using a combination of strength training, circuit training & cardio focused circuit training. There are no “cookie cutter” or “one size fits all” programs here – instead, you’ll receive a personalised program that is designed specifically around your individual abilities, needs and interests, including a dietary guideline that is developed in accordance with your goals. Whether you’re getting into the gym for weight loss, or want to take a step towards developing your strength training, Athlete 8 is the boutique gym for you.

Online Training

Athlete8 are committed to improving the health and wellbeing of as many people as possible, which is why we developed our innovative Online Training portal – ensuring that if you can’t make it to see us, then we can still make it to see you! With the flexibility to do your circuit training exercises in your living room or our dedicated circuit training area, Athlete 8 gives you the flexibility you deserve.

 

Corporate Programs

Small Group Training

Many of us perform better when in a group, so for these individuals we’ve designed the Athlete8 Small Group Training. Here, you’ll be motivated to try new things, and inspired to achieve more than you thought possible, whilst still following our unique strength, cardio & circuit training exercises.

Backed by science, our 8-week in-gym and fully-guided online programs have been developed to ensure you feel like an athlete in just 8 weeks. You can choose from:

Fit Fundamentals: Beginners

If you’re new to exercise then this is the body transformation program for you! Because this program is designed to transform your fitness status from beginner to athlete in just 8 weeks through our science backed circuit training with a dedicated personal trainer.

Strength & Conditioning: Beginner & Intermediate

This program is ideal for both beginner and intermediate exercisers, as it is designed to progress your current strength and conditioning abilities to the next level, whilst being guided and supported with a dedicated personal trainer.

Powerlifting

This program can turn any novice exerciser into a powerful athlete. Consisting of two four-week phases, you’ll first master the fundamentals of powerlifting, before progressing to the development stage where the true magic happens!

Bodybuilding

If you’ve ever wanted to try your hand (and legs, and chest, and glutes, and back, and…) then get set to transform your physique in just 8 weeks, with this proven Bodybuilding program from Athlete8, guided with one of our highly experienced personal trainers.

Sal doesn't mess around when it comes to his clients. If it wasnt for him, I wouldn't know my full potnetial with my training. But it's not just the training where Sal excels, he genuinely cares about his clients mental health as much as he cares about their physical health and does his best to make sure his clients have the tools to be healthy

Always punctual, with a big bright smile on his face, very reliable with our exercise routine planned religiously.
